Sony scheduled a press event for January 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Sony will likely give a wholistic overview of new products across their product line.
We expect them to make a cinema announcement to their FX line, but do not expect to see any alpha cameras. The anticipated Sony a7S IV is not expected until the second half of 2024 at the earliest, the A9 III is scheduled for a February 21 shipping and possible entry level cameras might be announced in the first half.
