We've been waiting patiently for more lenses, and today we have a few hints of what Canon has planned for the wide and fast. In our previous story, we told you about a Canon patent for fast and wide primes. This story is all about fast and wide zooms like the 16-24mm /2.8.

Patent  P2023-104025 has embodiments for an RF 8-15mm f/4L USM and the RF 16-24mm f/4L USM. While the RF 16-24mm f/4L USM may not seem to make sense, if Canon is able to reduce the weight, size and price compared to the 25-35mm f/2.8, it could make sense
