Yodobashi Camera, the fourth largest Japanese camera retailer, released their list of top 10 cameras sold from April 16 to April 30, 2023. Sales data covers interchangeable lens digital cameras as posted by Capa Camera Web.
Sony had a strong April dominating the first half of the month and doing the same here in the bottom half with five cameras in the top ten, but only managed to place one camera in the top three. Canon has three cameras in the top ten, but is shut out of the top 3.
The Canon EOS R5, which showed up in the top five for much of its life, has been absent recently. The Nikon Z9 performed well coming in in the second spot behind the Sony a7 IV with the only Fuji, coming in third.
