We're received a rumour that Canon will be announcing a new blogging camera on May 11, 2023. We haven't received any specifications or even pricing, but there is one teaser image that is believed to be a vertical camera with a lens on top.
Canon Rumors published a story about an upcoming vertical blogging camera back in February, 2021, but nothing since. But based on the supposed Canon teaser image, it's hard to see the resemblance.
This isn't the first time we have seen rumours about an upcoming camera from China that turned out to be false. Nikon Rumors recently posted a price leak that turned out to be false. To borrow from Canon Rumors, we would rate this as a CI0.
